My Contract

Norman’s contract with the electors of Salford & Eccles

Liberal Democrat Candidate for Salford & Eccles has launched his own personal ‘contract’ with the people of Salford & Eccles.

Norman said “I am making some important pledges to local people about how I will act if I am elected as our MP.

1. I will put local people first. I will be there to help, listen to your concerns and stand up for our community.

2. I will make sure your voice is heard – locally and at Westminster. I will be a strong voice for Salford & Eccles.

3. I will be open and honest about all expenses incurred in representing you and not profit personally from them.

In addition, I promise that I will be a full-time MP. I will not be paid for any job or activities other than being a Member of Parliament. You deserve a dedicated, full-time MP.”

Norman added:

“I am making these pledges to give local people confidence they can expect a high standard of behaviour from me if chosen as their next Member of Parliament.

I’m making a clear pledge to local voters. Those voters can keep this pledge, print it off, stick it to the fridge and ensure I stick to those commitments. All candidates standing in the General Election here in Salford & Eccles should make the same pledge – and they should promise to stick to it too.”
